The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday . . .

No one ever said filmmaking was easy. Here are some pics from the set of "24" of lead character Nicholas Brandon Mora. His devotion to his craft is evident in his breaking of his own arm just for his character. What a trooper. Ok that may not be how he broke his arm but he was willing to go out and run and fight monsters on set! The picture on the right was take at the end of the day by Caylie Jones (Tyra).

Day 1 of Shooting

One of the actor's videos from our first day of shooting. The team was back together. Today I found out that my truck is the team appointed "trailer", a place everyone congregates while I'm out shooting a scene. I'm sure it looked a little suspicious heading into the woods with a shovel, plastic bags, some dirt, and a bloody actor. Our biggest scene to film was the scream between Nick and Caylie. It took a few tries, but the end product came out really great. Wish I could post the final product here, but you can see it when the film drops. Death Becomes Her

Just snappin' pics at the park. Caylie Jones on set of "24". The makeup was done by the incredible special FX artist, Crystal Arvizu, who taught me how to also make fake burns with liquid latex. Definitely going to be asking her to do more stuff with us.

I think we may have scared some bikers on their afternoon ride. Nevertheless, Caylie and Crystal really brought the character of Tyra to life in this film . . .or is it, "brought her to death"? Idk, but make sure you keep it here for all news about this new psychological thriller, also starring Nicholas Brandon Mora, Cailey Miller, and Max Bailey!
